Customer Responsibilities

Service Limitations
We may decline, pause, or reschedule service if a home presents unsafe, unsanitary, or unreasonable conditions. This may include excessive biohazards, pest infestations, mold, bodily fluids, hoarding conditions, aggressive animals, active construction hazards, lack of utilities, or other safety concerns.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. We may charge a cancellation, lockout, or rescheduling fee if an appointment is canceled late, if we cannot access the property, or if cleaners arrive and service cannot be performed.
Payments
Payment terms will be provided at booking, invoicing, or checkout. Payment may be required before, at the time of, or after service depending on the arrangement. Late, failed, disputed, or reversed payments may result in additional fees, collection activity, or suspension of future services.
Satisfaction and Service Concerns
If you have a concern about your cleaning, please contact us promptly and provide details and photos when possible. We may offer a reasonable correction, partial adjustment, credit, or other resolution at our discretion. We are not responsible for issues reported after a reasonable inspection period or for conditions outside the agreed service scope.
Damage or Loss Claims
Please report any suspected damage or loss as soon as possible. We may request photos, documentation, access to inspect the item or area, and other information needed to review the claim. We are not responsible for normal wear and tear, pre-existing damage, improperly installed items, unsecured valuables, fragile items not disclosed in advance, or damage caused by conditions outside our control.
Independent Cleaners and Service Providers
North Star Cleaning may use employees, independent contractors, vendors, or other service providers to perform or support services. We may assign, reassign, or substitute service providers based on availability, location, scheduling, and business needs.
